ASKING WITH EVIL INTENTIONS

“When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures.”
It’s so evident in the life of some Christians that 90% of their prayer requests most times remains unanswered. Why? Because many ask for a particular thing with wrong intentions.
I once heard someone saying that if he makes money, he will deal with women. So, the reason he wants to make money is to deal with women!!!
The same thing with some ladies, they pray for a life partner, may be to escape insults, or hardship or to relax and enjoy. These thoughts are wrong intentions. That’s why many have not received what they have been praying for. Intentions and motives of prayers are what God looks at. If he sees your intentions of asking him for a particular blessings and that motive is not pure, you might stay 50 years still praying for that particular thing.
The funny thing is that God answers all prayers – It’s either he says YES, or NO or keep silent. But in all things, make your intentions pure for the manifestation of what you have prayed for.
God cannot be deceived!!!
