Don’t Forsake the Christian Assembly

“And let us consider [thoughtfully] how we may encourage one another to love and to do good deeds,
Not forsaking our meeting together [as believers for worship and instruction], as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more [faithfully] as you see the day [of Christ’s return] approaching” (AMP).
God’s glory and anointing abound when the people of God gather in worship and reverence to God.
Here, God instructs His people and reminds them of His covenants, promises and judgements. Also members are encouraged to love and strive to perfection, and to wait expectantly for return of Christ.
Don’t make excuses for not participating in the Sunday Masses and in the fellowship of the children of God.
For these are avenues to get enriched spiritually and to encounter the Lord more vividly which will lead you to make meaningful impact in your community.
+ Lord, make me a son of encouragement. Let many people be led to love and care for others’ well-being because of my acts of charity.
+ Father, may I love your dwelling place and build a habit of worshipping you with fellow Christians, both in season and out of season. Amen.
