Reflection
The men who came bearing the paralytic man exhibited two stunning qualities that we need in order to have full access to the power of Christ Lordship. First they had faith in Christ ability to solve the situation and secondly they cared less about public reaction to their action towards Christ. Many a time, we are restricted from access to God because we fear what people will say, but this is a time to move by faith and come to Christ. They did it. Surrendered to him and submitted themselves to his Lordship; therefore he released on them the power therein. By its manifestation the paralytic got forgiveness of sin and healing of his body – a holistic redemption with salvation and healing; by the authority he has over the earth.
Prayer
Oh Lord give me grace and faith, to come and live under your Lordship all the days of my life.
