Praise God In Your Troubles

A calmed sea does not make a skilled sailor. You may have been known to be a vibrant and joyful person. But that’s when things were going on well with you.

The question is will you still exhibit the same spirit when things turn around for worse!

Will you not curse the date of your birth as Job did? Will you not ask God to take your life away as Elijah said?

Beloved, God wants us to still be upbeat and joyful even in most cruel moment. He used Paul and Silas to shown us that we should pray and praise Him in the midst of our difficulties!

Acts 16:25 recorded that these two men, after they were beaten with rods for healing a girl with evil spirit, they were chained and thrown into the inner prison.

“But at midnight Paul and Silas were PRAYING and SINGING hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them. Suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken; and immediately all the DOORS were OPENED and everyone’s CHAINS were LOOSED.”

Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever. So never lose hope. Praise God in your challenges. Praise God in midst of your troubles!

Pray and Praise God. Remain confident to the end. You’ll see God’s glory. Amen.
