Faithfulness to the work and trust in God (1corinthians 4:1-2)
2 years ago Evangelical Ministry 0
We must be faithful in the works and trust that he has given to us. Our identity must be very clear to us at all time ” as CHRISTIANS”
1Cor.4.1 – So then, let us [apostles] be looked upon as ministering servants of Christ and stewards (trustees) of the mysteries (the secret purposes) of God.
1Cor.4.2 – Moreover, it is [essentially] required of stewards that a man should be found faithful [proving himself worthy of trust].
We being ministers in our various degrees and people God has shown His mysteries, are to be proven faithful and trustworthy. Now I asked myself, how faithful have I been with what God has given me as an evangelical minister? Are you a praying, singing, teaching, steward minister? How faithful and trustworthy have you been to your call? I am dispensing what have been entrusted in my hands very well? For it whom much is given much is expected from. It’s a privilege to be a Christian, make use of every opportunity given by God. For in this dispensation of Grace much is expected than in the dispensation of works. Make use of this Grace that is always sufficient. May the Lord help us. Amen.
