What is Breakthrough?
Breakthrough is any major progress that overcomes a significant obstacle.
An act of overcoming or penetratring an obstacle or restriction.
Overcoming something and having a major achievement.
Examples of men that had breakthrough
1. Jacob wrestled with God, until he received a breakthrough (Gen 32:26).
2. Jabez cried to God, and prayed out his breakthrough. God made him more honourable than his brethren (1 Chron 4:10).
Which breakthrough are you looking for?
1. Business breakthrough
2. Career advancement
3. Financial breakthrough
Things that facilitate breakthrough
1. Turning to God e.g Moses (Exodus 3:3-4).
2. Dissatisfactied about the status quo e.g Jabez (1 Chron. 4:10).
3. Discover your purpose
e.g Jeremiah (Jer. 1:5; Rom 11:29)
4. Preparation (Prov. 16:1)
5. Pursuit; this entails taking action. (Habakkuk 2:1-3)
6. Wrestle with God in Prayer e.g Jacob (Gen. 32:26)
7. Right and timely information (Joshua 1:8)
8. Right association
“He that walketh with the wise shall be wise, but the companion of the fool shall be destroyed” (Prov 13:20).
9. Be a giver
Giving is the gateway to overflow (2 Cor 9:6, Luke 6:38)
Conclusion
God has bestowed upon us unimaginable wealth and riches by becoming poor for our sake, hence, we have every reason to experience financial breakthrough (Cf. 2 Cor 8:9; Psalm 112:3).
