“Commit your work to the LORD, and your plans will be established” (NRSV)

“Ask the LORD to bless your plans, and you will be successful in carrying them out” (GNT)

Reflection

Life is spiritually determined. Therefore, we must live our lives knowing that we cannot achieve much with our human abilities.

While it is okay to equip ourselves with skills, knowledge, professional qualifications, etc., we must understand that they lack the capacity to make us succeed.

Hence, having done our best, we must look upwards in prayer to the source of all good things (James 1:17) for our success.

Let us make it a point to pray about everything, even when we think we have it all figured out.

Action

1. Mention those things you want to achieve this month.

2. Take it to God in prayer.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, thank you for always answering my prayer. I commit the following things I want to do this month to you (Mention them…) Guide me, Lord. Help me to be successful in them. Amen.
