Don’t Give God’s Glory to Another

Isaiah 42:8
“I am the Lord; that is my name! I will not give my glory to anyone else, nor share my praise with carved idols” (NLT).
Meditation
Our God is Omnipotent, Omnipresent, and Omniscient. He owns all glory.
From him all good things come – riches, wealth, blessings, promotion, power, healing, children, and good success, among others
Knowing this therefore, we must reverence God Almighty and return all praises to Him.
We are God’s children, and on no account should we seek help from idols as this amounts to dishonouring God and giving His glory to another. Amen.
Prayers
+ Father, let me experience more of your glory on earth for I am your child.
+ Lord, in thy glory, destroy the things that afflict my life and give me peace. Amen.
