Bread of Life Voice

Study Verse: Mark 5:25-34

Reflection
As I read this passage of the Bible this morning, a question was raised in my heart: what is the difference between the healing the woman received in verse 29 and that which she received when in verse 34, Christ said to her; go in peace and be healed of your disease? The Spirit brought to my knowledge that the woman sought for a healing of her physical disease – hemorrhage; and because Christ was solution personified, she got it even without Christ saying anything. Then, our Lord being a perfecter, knew she needed something more. He know he had not finished work in her and as such; desperately sought for her as he asked his disciples with a sense of urgency. Then as soon as he found her, he gave her a healing of her soul – from every damage of sin. Christ – the perfecter – wants to do a perfect work in my life this week. He wants to give me all of his healing – a healing that will transcend from my body unto my soul. A perfect and holistic healing. As I seek him, he also seeks me out of love, because he urgently needs to perfect my healing.
