Ephesians 1:18
“And [I pray] that the eyes of your heart [the very center and core of your being] may be enlightened [flooded with light by the Holy Spirit], so that you will know and cherish the hope [the divine guarantee, the confident expectation] to which He has called you, the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints (God’s people),” (AMP)
Meditation
To remain steadfast and joyful in your Christian life in this trying times, you must be growing in the knowledge you have of God and of His grace daily.
You must cherish greatly the new life God has give you through Jesus Christ – the eternal life and heavenly rest God has prepared for you.
God has made you His own, His own portion. It is an honour worthy of daily celebration that now you are God’s property, God’s chosen vessel, His special inheritance.
How much did you pay for it? Nothing! It all came just because you believed in Jesus Christ, renounced your sin, and was baptised.
Therefore, let no challenge in this life force you to throw away this precious work God has wrought for you. Rather, may you be strengthened each day by these blessings and be delightful in all that God has done for you. Amen.
Prayers
+ Father, open my eyes to see the glorious things you have done for me.
+ Lord Jesus, keep me steady in my walk with you. May I behold more of your blessings in my life. Amen.
