Are You Ashamed of Christ?

Luke 9:26
“For whoever is ashamed of Me and My words, of him the Son of Man will be ashamed when He comes in His own glory, and in His Father’s, and of the holy angels (NKJV).
Meditation
You are ashamed of Christ if:
+ You feel timid and uncomfortable upholding the tenets and teaching of righteousness.
+ You want things to be done the worldly and dubious ways. You resist every system and people change toward better and right living.
+ You love your life so much that you will choose to sin to preserve life and live happily than to suffer persecution.
+ You hate to speak about Christ, and resist every outreach effort and make jest of the power of God.
Christian faith is a precious gift from our God which we should appreciate and propagate. St. Paul said that gospel is the power of God unto salvation to them that believe.
If you want to love the gospel and to cherish everything about Christ, you must deny yourself, and take up your cross daily, and follow Christ!
Prayers
+ Father, help me to please you in my life always.
+ Lord God, open my mouth that I will proclaim your message to the poor.
