(Joel 2:28-29)

_“And afterward, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions. Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days.”_

INTRODUCTION
In the Old testament, the presence of the Holy Spirit was not given to all. God only gave the Holy Spirit to His special chosen vessels – kings, priests, Judges, prophets and deliverers of Israelites, whom He used according to His purpose. But God’s earnest desire for every one of His children is for them to live entirely and unceasingly under the control of the Holy Spirit, to be filled with His Spirit. That is why he made this promise in Joel 2:28 which came into fulfillment in Acts 2:1-11. The Holy spirit came upon the disciples on the day of Pentecost.
This great outpouring brings about a complete transformation upon the life of the apostles and early Christians. They became entirely new (2 Corinthians 5:17), their carnal thoughts changed to spiritual insights and their selfishness changed to love. They were empowered to bear witnesses for Christ.

From this acts you will realized there is always a mighty and complete transformation when the Holy Spirit is been received in His fullness.

WHAT IS MISSING IN OUR TIME?

Every year, we have “Life in the Spirit Seminar”, yet, it seems there is no transformation in our lives. The question becomes – Is it that the outpouring during Pentecost is different from the one we have experienced? The answer to this is found in “Ezekiel 47:1-12, John7:37-39.”

From the scripture above according to prophet Ezekiel, we can see the streams of water flowing from the temple to the east, the stream represents the Holy Spirit flowing inside of us. When this streams flowed into the red sea, the bitterness turns into fresh water. This indicates that when the Holy Spirit comes into our lives, there is always a transformation. By the flow of this water from the sanctuary, it depicts that the Holy Spirit is not a dormant Spirit, He is a moving Spirit. It is only when we give ourselves completely to Jesus, that the outpouring of the Holy Spirit would be complete in our lives. Alleluia!!!

In Ezekiel 47:1-6, God revealed to us four different levels of our surrendering and commitment to the Spirit.

Ankle deep level: This category have 10% commitment and surrendering – vs 3 eg Simon the sorcerer in Acts8:9-22.

Knee deep level: This category have 30% commitment and surrendering vs 4.

Waist deep level: This people have 50% commitment and surrendering vs 4. Their fruits are not much. They are half renewed.

Sinking level: The Holy Spirit is in total control of the entire life of the person vs 5. This is where God desires that each of us should be.

God has presented another opportunity for us in this Life in the Spirit Seminar to take us from ankle deep, knee deep, waist deep to sinking level with the Holy Spirit.
