ASK OF THE ANCIENT PATH

This is what the Lord says: Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls. But you said, ‘We will not walk in it.”
At a time when people have fasted for years, went to the wilderness for desert experience, prayed and preached, evangelized, mentored and directed believers, the Lord did not make a call for blessings, deliverance but chose to remind us about the failing part of our lives by telling us to: “ask of the Ancient Path”.
This is an indication that something has gone wrong. Where are you? Where did you keep the teachings you ones heard and accepted? What happened to the first love you had for God. What killed your zeal and hunger for God? All these are the reasons behind the theme of this convention.
The Lord needs his people to go back and renew what they once believed and enjoyed. He said to Jacob in Genesis 31; Go back to Bethel. The place we first had encounter and I revealed my glory to you.
There is a global crisis, Nigeria’s case very disturbing. The Lord wants his people to ask of the Ancient Path the elders of old took and recorded great success even in the face of adversity.
This is the time the ministers of God are needed to retrace their step, and correct the great anomaly in this generation. Judgment day is coming, and God’s own people will be the first to be judged. What effort are you making today?
The time is now!
