Congratulations to the Catholic Bishop of Ekwulobia Diocese, Bishop Rt. Rev. Peter Okpalaeke as he becomes a Cardinal

Bishop Okpaleke is now Nigeria’s fifth Cardinal in History after Cardinals Dominic Ekandem, Francis Arinze, Anthony Okogie, and John Onaiyekan.

Pope Francis mentioned him among the 21 New Cardinals to be installed on August 27, 2022.

Indeed, God makes all things beautiful in their time. Congratulations, Our Lord Bishop! Keep feeding and shepherding God’s people.
