Reflections On John 11:17-27.

Jesus Christ is the Resurrection and the life. I am therefore not scared of what happens after I die for in Jesus, I will continue to live.
Today, Jesus says to me ‘Come forth,’ ‘Be loosed from all your limitations and the things that held you back.’ I am thus free; I am delivered from the yoke of sickness, evil oppression, and death in Jesus name.
I say with the Psalmist: I shall not die but shall live and testify of the goodness of God in the land of the living. Amen.
Jesus loves me personally. He knows what I am passing through and is concerned about my well-being. He shed tears in Lazarus case because of the love He had for him and his family.
‘Whoever that lives and believes in Me will not die,’ were His words. Here, He meant eternal death. Since I believed in Jesus Christ, I will live eternally with Him. I pity death for it has no power over me henceforth.
I thus say with Saint Paul, ‘I live not I but Christ lives in me. The life I live now in the flesh, I live by the faith of the son of God who loved me and gave Himself up for me’ (Gal. 2:20). Alleluia.
Thank you Jesus for your saving work. Thank you for dying for me. Thank you for restoring my life. Be with me always my Master. Amen.
