Haggai 2:3-4, 8-9
“‘Who is left among you who saw this temple in its former glory? And how do you see it now? In comparison with it, is this not in your eyes as nothing?
Yet now be strong, Zerubbabel,’ says the Lord ; ‘and be strong, Joshua, son of Jehozadak, the high priest; and be strong, all you people of the land,’ says the Lord , ‘and work; for I am with you,’ says the Lord of hosts.
‘The silver is Mine, and the gold is Mine,’ says the Lord of hosts.
‘The glory of this latter temple shall be greater than the former,’ says the Lord of hosts. ‘And in this place I will give peace,’ says the Lord of hosts” (NKJV)
Meditation
If God is involved in a thing, that project will end in glory. If people will stick to the will of God and obey Him, they will experience the abundant goodness of God.
Your body is the temple of God. If you are not experiencing God’s manifold presence, it’s time to work.
It is time to decongest your life of all evils and build your up in God through genuine repentance, prayers, good morals, right living and almsgiving.
In this passage, God told Zerubbabel the king, Joshua the high priest, and all the people to be strong and work on the temple.
As God restored the glory of that temple, He is committed to revive the glory of your life. But you must be willing to work and do your part. Amen.
Prayers
+ Father, restore your glory of my life.
+ Lord, strengthen me and direct me in the path of your glory.
+ Father, give me the strength to work today and accomplish great task. Amen.
