In every moment, in every crisis, whether material or spiritual, there is always one that we ought to go to, first. He is our Saviour. He is our redeemer. His name is Jesus Christ.

When everybody was deserting Him, in John chapter 6:67-69, He turned to His Apostles and asked them, ‘Will you also go away?’ Peter, one of the Apostles, answered and said, ‘Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the message of eternal life. And we believe and are sure that you are the Christ, the son of the living God.’

The most beautiful thing in this life is to know the truth and abide in it. Jesus is the way (to follow), the truth (to abide in) and the Life (to live).

He tells us always, ‘Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.’ Matthew 11:28. Go to Him, whatever the dilemma.

Go to Jesus for Forgiveness. His blood cleanses us from all our sin. (I John 1:7).

Go to Jesus for Salvation and true joy. He had said, ‘what shall it profit a man if He gains the whole world and suffer the loss of your soul.’ (Mark 8:36).

Go to Jesus for Healing and deliverance. He was manifested to destroy the works of the devil. (I John 3:8).

Go to Jesus when in pain, distress and in sorrow. He will comfort you and ensure your personal peace. (Matthew 5:4).

Go to Jesus for your daily bread. He will build your life with His words and open your eyes to your true riches and place of your success. He did fed 5000 men with only five loaves of bread and two fish (Matthew 14:13-21).

Go to Jesus for restoration and fruitfulness. He said that He has come that they (including you) may have life and have it abundantly. (John 10:10b).

Go to Jesus when faced with hardship and difficulties of life. He does all things well and your own will not be an exception (Mark 7:37). Look up to Him and wait on Him.

How Do I Reach Him?
+Coming to Jesus starts with getting to Know Him and believing in Him.

+Jesus may not be physically be seen by you, but He pours His Holy Spirit on all who believe in Him. This Spirit reveals the truth about God to you and leads you in the path of righteousness, success and fruitfulness which God has planned for your life.

+Your knowledge of God grows and your personal relationship with Jesus Christ deepens when you fellowship together with those who believed in Christ and partake actively in spiritual exercises including prayers, worship, meditation in God’s words and thanksgiving.

True and Faithful Friend.
Joseph M. Scriven wrote a song about Jesus Christ saying:

What a friend we have in Jesus, All our sins and griefs to bear!
What a privilege to carry everything to God in prayer!
Oh, what peace we often forfeit, Oh, what needless pain we bear.
All because we do not carry everything to God in prayer!
