Study Verse: Mark 2:13-17
Reflection
All men are worthy of Christ call to discipleship. There cannot be a state of life that would make one unworthy because as he said: “I came not to call the righteous, but sinners.” This is the central message of today’s reflection. Despite the kind of life one may have lived or may be living currently; Christ says “follow me”. This lesson also enables us to accept the call of God in the life of others; not despising or dismissing them as unworthy. The son of man has come to save the sinner. So even as we answer this call, we should not shut the door unto others who answer the same call despite their state.
Prayer
Help me Lord, to overcome every guilt and follow you.
