Bread of Life Voice

The life in the Spirit Seminars are means of leading people into a deeper Christian Life in the power of the Holy Spirit. The seminars are intended to help people to turn to Jesus, to become holy, Christ-like men and women filled with the Spirit of Jesus.

The seminars are a part of the process of Christian growth and through them, participants are well equipped to become witnesses of Jesus Christ not only in words but by their holy lives.

The aims of the seminars includes the following:

1). Deepening of an already existing relationship:

God expects a steady growth in every aspects of our lives including our spiritual lives. He wants to lead us to perfection which can be found only in Him. This is evidenced in the words He said to Abraham in Genesis 17:1, ‘walk with me and be perfect.’

2). Restoration of a broken relationship:

Every relationship can get sour. Certain things like hardships, persecution, lacks, ill-health, delay/disappointments, wealth, positions, beauty and association may take one’s heart from the things of God. In Isaiah 1:18, God said, ‘Come now, let us reason together, though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be white as snow…’ He wants to maintain good and growing bond with us.

3). Beginning of a new relationship with Jesus Christ:

You may have been hearing things about God and of Jesus Christ, but have not known Him well. This is an opportunity to come to know God, and learn more about Jesus Christ. It is a time to start a Christian journey which will end ultimately in Heaven, and it is the plan of God for you. The Scripture says that if any man be in Christ, he is a new creation: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. (2 Cor 5:17).

The content of the Seminar is rich and covers various subjects including God’s love, Salvation, Discipleship, Holy Spirit, Body of Christ and Witnessing to the gospel.

Currently, the members of the Bread of Life Prayer Group CCRN in St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Chaplaincy, Unizik in Awka, Anambra state, are holding the seminar.

The seminar runs from 20th June to 22nd August, 2017 by 5PM every Tuesday and Friday at the Church Podium.
