Study Verse: Matthew 4:18-22
Reflection
Today God reveals four qualities and characters of those who answer the call of discipleship. They react positively without rationalizing, they despise their past ways, they detach from the world and they follow with faith and trust. For you to be a good disciple you have to exhibit same quality. A lot of thoughts may want to come in to make one have a rethink, the past ways and its attraction will want to entice, the love of the things of the world will want to hinder and frustrate the call and finally, the fear of the unknown life may pose a challenge; but in all the grace is sufficient to see us through. We need to be on our guard with the awareness of these and work hard to overcome them.
Prayer
Help me oh Lord by your grace to build these character of response and follow your
